Alicia Framis - Departure Board
Alicia Framis’ work presents visitors with a large departure board featuring destinations to made-up or imaginary cities from the worlds of philosophy, literature, architecture and science fiction.
As you approach the exit of the exhibition you are confronted with to the large Departure Board, which lets us think about ways to escape the progress trap. As the board presents destinations to non-existent places such as Narnia, Gotham City and Utopia, it may make us wonder if it is even possible to break free from the current world we live in. external link
