Buckminster Fuller

Buckminster Fuller (1895 – 1983) was a renowned thinker of the 20th century. He worked across multiple fields such as architecture, design, philosophy, science, geometry and engineering.

Fuller can be seen as a futurist and pioneer, as his goal was to solve problems globally and think of ways of doing more with less. As an environmental activist, he was very aware of the fact that natural resources would run out. In his work he therefore looked for sustainable solutions.

Throughout the course of his life Fuller held 28 patents, authored 28 books, received 47 honorary degrees.
